Effective September 15, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Beardstyles.app (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, including reading the style guides and using the Try-On Studio. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt its operation, scraping content at scale without permission, or using it in a way that violates applicable law.
The Try-On Studio is a preview tool: it uses AI image generation to show a selected beard style and color on a photo you upload. It is not a medical or cosmetic recommendation, and it is not a guarantee of how any style will actually look once grown — real growth depends on your own density, pattern, and texture.
Generating a preview sends your photo to our server, where it is first checked by a third-party content-moderation service and then passed to a third-party AI provider to produce the result — see the Privacy Policy for details. Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have agreed to have their photo used this way. The Try-On Studio is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits NSFW and other harmful content; by using the Studio you agree to that policy.
Credits are purchased through PayPal's checkout, on the operator's PayPal account. Each pricing tier has a fixed price and a fixed credit amount, and those are the price and the amount charged — the amount is set by our server for the tier you choose, not by your browser. Credits are granted automatically as soon as PayPal confirms the payment, which normally takes a few seconds. Credits have no cash value, do not expire, and are not refundable except where required by law. We may, at our discretion, forfeit unused credits associated with an account that has violated the Acceptable Use Policy.
If a payment cannot be completed — for example, PayPal declines the payment method you chose — no credits are granted and you should not expect a charge. If you believe you were charged without receiving credits, contact us and we will either grant the credits or refund the payment through PayPal.
Funds that reach the operator's PayPal balance are settled to the operator's linked bank account through PayPal's automatic withdrawal, typically within 3–5 business days from the date of payment. This withdrawal happens entirely on PayPal's side after the payment is confirmed; the Site does not initiate, queue, or hold the bank transfer, and the delay between payment and funds arriving in the bank account is governed by PayPal's own processing times, not by the Site.
Content on the Site, including grow times, difficulty ratings, and shaping instructions, is general information based on common barbering conventions. It is not a substitute for advice from a professional barber or a dermatologist, particularly for skin conditions, ingrown hairs, or other concerns affecting hair growth.
The Site's text, design, illustrations, and the Try-On Studio tool are owned by Beardstyles.app or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without permission, beyond ordinary personal use like sharing a link.
The Site may link to third-party resources. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of sites we don't operate.
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Results from following any styling guide will vary based on individual hair growth, genetics, and technique.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beardstyles.app will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
