We collect limited information automatically when you visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referring site, typically through analytics tools. If you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.
The Try-On Studio generates a photorealistic AI preview of a beard style on your photo. To do that, the photo you upload is sent to our server, which passes it to a third-party AI image-generation provider to produce the result; it is not processed only inside your browser. We use that photo solely to generate the preview you requested — we don't use it to train models, and we don't store it beyond what's needed to serve that single request back to you. The third-party AI provider's own handling of the image while generating the result is governed by its terms, which we review before integrating any provider. Don't upload a photo of anyone who hasn't agreed to have their photo used this way.
Where applicable law requires it (including GDPR for EEA/UK visitors), we rely on consent for non-essential cookies and analytics, and legitimate interest for basic site operation. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@beardstyles.app with "Privacy Request" in the subject line.
Analytics data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above, consistent with our analytics provider's retention settings. Emails are retained as long as needed to resolve the inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping afterward.
We may use third-party analytics and advertising providers. These providers process data under their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review those where relevant.
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
